CAPD supports community development initiatives with people disadvantaged by circumstance or disability. Our goal is to promote collective actions that enhance knowledge, leadership and volunteerism and that lead to enhanced quality of life and dignity. Our strategy is to build long-term relationships of trust with our community partners through a process of accompaniment in which there is reciprocal learning and participation. CAPD is planning to raise an estimated amount of $250,000 this year. Our costs to raise these funds are estimated to be $30,000. The money raised will go to support the projects and programs of CAPD in Colombia.
